The “Speak With Me” series of children’s books targets basic sounds, language phrases, and speaking patterns for children 0-8 years old. The series teaches adults to follow a three step process:
1 TEACHthe child how to properly form sounds, 2 MODEL sounds, words and simple phrases by slowly and clearly saying them out loud, and 3 PROMPTthe child to practice these sounds, words and phrases as often as possible by pausing and encouraging her to repeat.
Each book focuses on a different set of sounds and language skills, and can be used in any order based on the needs of the child. Also includes fun tips on praising, effective reading, and more!
